Rainmaker Announces ViewCentral 5.5; Improved and Expanded Business Solutions for On-Demand Marketing and Training

CAMPBELL, Calif., Aug. 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Rainmaker Systems, Inc. , a leading provider of sales and marketing solutions combining hosted application software and execution services, today announced the release of ViewCentral(TM) 5.5 -- an improved and expanded version of its industry-leading application suite of on-demand business solutions for marketing and training.

ViewCentral 5.5 includes new features designed to improve and enhance the everyday use of the system, making it even easier to use while providing additional functionality. The new features include support for language Internationalization, enhancements to the Certification system, and a new split/multi-payment capability on attendee registration.

-- Internationalization In addition to support for seven languages, the new Internationalization module includes: the ability to enter multiple language text for course/event records; translated text for system information; communications in multiple languages; and site-branding settings to mirror the look and feel of a specific language. -- Certification System The Certification feature of ViewCentral has been enhanced with a new communication application to notify attendees of certification expiration and support for multiple course/event tracks. Multiple tracks in a single certification allow attendees to reach certification through multiple learning paths. -- Split Payments on Registrations System users now can enter payment information using multiple payment methods. Using the split payment feature, system users can split course/event fees between multiple payment methods, such as purchase orders and credit cards.
