DICK'S Sporting Goods Launches Extensive Digital Training Resource for Athletes; Powered by IMG Academy

PITTSBURGH, June 26, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- DICK'S Sporting Goods (NYSE: DKS), the largest U.S. based full-line sporting goods retailer, announced today an innovative, digital training platform with world-renowned sports training provider, IMG Academy, to help athletes maximize performance beginning "Day One" of each new season. The state-of-the-art platform, which is now live at www.DicksSportingGoods.com/DayOne, is customized for individual sports and offers comprehensive training regimens to help athletes achieve peak performance.  

DICK'S launched the "Day One" experience to provide a one-stop resource, serving true athletes before and during the season. Featuring an intuitive user experience that is seamless across PC, mobile and tablet devices, the platform provides an extensive library of training videos that cover sport-specific skills, speed and strength exercises, as well as nutrition and mental conditioning. The specialized instruction is delivered by IMG Academy's coaches and athletic and personal development experts.
