Oct 31, 2013 (01:10 PM EDT)
HERNDON, Va., Oct. 31, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- ORI, a market research and strategic business intelligence firm, has been awarded two task orders by the Department of Labor for the Bureau of Labor Statistics' (BLS)monthly collection of employment data. This win significantly increases the company's work with BLS. Since 2007, ORI has been the prime contractor for Data Collection Services in support of the Current Employment Statistics Program for the Florida Data Collection Center. These new task orders expand ORI's responsibilities to also include the four CES Data Collection Centers as well as Help Desk support services, and the Electronic Data Interchange Center. L-3 Communications (L-3) continues to serve as ORI's subcontractor, advancing the partnership the firms have forged for another contract performance period.
"ORI is thrilled to expand our partnership with BLS and L-3," said Kathleen Benson, President of ORI. "Our increased responsibilities let us provide the Bureau of Labor Statistics with the technology and data they need to accurately report the developments in the nation's economic conditions upon which so many public and private organizations depend."
The ability to deliver services that address the high-pressure, time-critical needs for dependability and accuracy of clients like the BLS contributed to ORI's successful competition for these task orders. Consistently providing high quality, on-time deliverables has enabled ORI to earn the confidence of leaders throughout the Department of Labor.
