Boston Police Chief to Address Boston Marathon Bombings at IEEE Homeland Security Conference in Waltham, Mass., on 12 November

WASHINGTON, Sept. 6, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Daniel P. Linskey, superintendent-in-chief of the Boston Police Department, will discuss "Lessons Learned from Boston Marathon Bombings" at the 2013 IEEE International Conference on Technologies for Homeland Security (HST '13) in November.
Linskey's talk will focus on the aftermath of the tragic events of 15 April 2013 and the response of his department and federal enforcement agencies that ultimately led to the capture of one of the suspects.
HST '13 will be held at the Westin Waltham Boston Hotel in Waltham, Mass., USA, 12-14 November 2013. It will bring together global science and technology thought leaders to foster homeland security technology innovation and showcase peer-reviewed technical papers highlighting emerging technologies in:

Dr. Daniel M.
