latakoo Releases Breakthrough Transfer Process for Video Media Cards
Jun 06, 2013 (02:06 PM EDT)

AUSTIN, Texas, June 6, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Video stitching, video grouping, or the concatenation of related video files usually happens on a timeline in an editing suite. From an SD card, P2 card or other media storage, most people are forced to move the files into an editing program, cut the files together, export a new file, and then transfer that file over the Internet. latakoo now gives video professionals the ability to drag, drop, and send dozens of related files fast with a one-click process. On the receiving end, latakoo will deliver either the collection of original files or one single stitched file with clips appearing in the order they were shot in the camera.

"We think this is a real game changer in the video industry," said latakoo CEO Paul Adrian.  "We're currently working with one of the world's largest content producers and they tell us they have been asking for the ability to transfer grouped files from a P2 card and that other vendors just haven't been able to deliver."

When two or more videos are added to the latakoo app, a toggle switch appears that shows "Grouping OFF."  In order to group the videos together as a single file for delivery, the user would toggle the switch to "Grouping On." Grouping can be achieved with related or unrelated files.

latakoo, an Austin, Texas based company provides enterprise level online video delivery, storage, collaboration, and file trans-coding to some of the largest broadcasting and video companies.
