The General Services Administration has awarded SRA International Inc. a task-order contract with the potential value of $115 million over seven years to provide IT services to the U.S. Marine Corps, the IT services firm said Monday.
SRA International will provide a full spectrum of systems-development services and solutions, beginning modestly and increasing based on the Marine Corps' needs, CEO Ernst Volgenau says.
The work will be provided to the Marines' Command, Control,, Communications, and Computers Chief Information Officer Directorate, which is responsible for establishing information systems standards, monitoring systems, and maintaining the information architecture in support of the Marines' war-fighting mission. The SRA team includes three other IT services firms: Anteon International, Computing Technologies, and Vredenburg.
The contract was awarded by GSA's Federal Systems Integration and Management Center through the Millennia program, a $25 billion multiple-award, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract offering multiyear IT services to federal agencies worldwide.
