EL SEGUNDO, Calif. (AP) - Computer Sciences Corp. said Thursday it will manage much of Motorola Inc.'s computing infrastructure and take over 1,300 employees under a 10-year outsourcing agreement worth about $1.6 billion.
Computer Sciences said it will manage Motorola's desktop computers, help desks, and networks.
It will also acquire Motorola's information-technology infrastructure and network assets as part of the deal, which begins on May 1.
About half of El Segundo-based Computer Sciences' business comes from similar outsourcing deals with big corporate and government clients. |
